Q&A Live Stream Event with The Last Poets
Listen, learn, and ask questions during a special live conversation with The Last Poets.
A Conversation You Won’t To Miss
The Last Poets will take part in an open conversation covering their experiences during the Black Power Movement in the 1960s and early 1970s. They will also share stories about people they met and knew through the movement, including members of the Black Panthers.
- The discussion will also touch on their experiences with COINTELPRO, the FBI counterintelligence program that targeted groups and individuals across the United States. These personal stories offer a closer look at the period that influenced much of their poetry and public work.
- Audience members will also have the chance to submit questions during the live stream. This makes the event more than a performance. It is an opportunity to hear the history, experiences, and views of The Last Poets directly from the members themselves.
- Mr. Dino S. Hall, President and CEO of DSH ENTERTAINMENT, INC.®️, will host and moderate the live stream.
