Hall was born and raised in Chicago, IL. He spent the beginning part of his career pursuing aviation in the United States Air Force, eventually finding his way into the air traffic control industry. Part of his training brought him to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he first learned of the needs of the economically challenged New Mexico populations. Today, he remains engaged in the Albuquerque community through his work promoting concerts through DSH Entertainment, and in supporting scholarships for local students. Through many years of persistence and hard work, Dino worked his way into upper management with the Albuquerque Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC), and provides leadership and mentorship in this vital endeavor, as well. Recognizing that students need hands-on, real life forms of artistic expression that can lead to technologically related industries such as television, film, and sound production, Mr. Hall seeks to support students participating in the Men of Color Initiative (MOCI) at the University of New Mexico with this endowed scholarship. It is the first such scholarship for MOCI at the University, which is reflective of Mr. Hall’s desire to create a scholarship aligned with this area of great need.
