DSH ENTERTAINMENT, INC.®️in association with The A.D.H. Foundation, Inc. proudly announces the launch of a **2026 Space Camp Scholarship** that will provide one deserving student with a fully funded opportunity to attend a **one-week Space Camp or Space Academy experience** at the **U.S. Space & Rocket Center** in Huntsville, Alabama. This exciting program is designed to encourage curiosity, innovation, and exploration in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
**About the U.S. Space & Rocket Center and Space Camp**
The U.S. Space & Rocket Center is a world-renowned museum and training facility that serves as the official visitor center for NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center. It is home to the internationally acclaimed **Space Camp®**, **Space Academy®**, and **Space Camp Robotics®** programs. These immersive educational experiences give students a hands-on understanding of space exploration, astronaut training, and teamwork in a STEM-focused environment.
The U.S Space & Rocket Center (USSRC), located in Huntsville, Alabama, offers a variety of immersive, STEM-focused summer camp programs under the umbrella of Space Camps. Founded in 1982, Space Camp has educated and inspired over one million alumni from all 50 U.S. states and more than 150 countries.
Programs are available for youth, teens, adults, families, educators, and custom groups.
Key Camp Tracks (For 2026)
● Space Camp – This is designed for children (ages 9 – 11). Trainees engage in astronaut-style missions, training like they would for real spaceflight.
● Space Academy – This is designed for trainees around ages 12 – 14. It includes deeper engineering challenges, leadership training and mission simulations.
● Advanced Space Academy – This is designed for older teens around ages 15 – 18, focusing on more advanced space career preparation.
● Aviation Challenge, Robotics Camp, Cyber Camp, Pathfinder, Family Camp and more – This is an additional track providing aviation training, robotics, cyber, family-inclusive programs, and short group-based experiences.
Typical Activities & Learning Experiences:
Campers experience a heavy emphasis on STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics), and real-world problem solving via:
● Training on actual astronaut-style equipment
● Building and launching model rockets.
● Participating in simulated missions to low Earth orbit, the Moon, or even Mars: working as part of a crew, solving challenges under pressure.
● Designing conceptual space/colonization projects eg., building a futuristic Martian colony.
● Engineering design challenges, problem-solving and critical thinking tasks.
● Leadership and team-building exercises like aquatic team-building activities, challenge courses and group projects.
● Exploring life aboard a simulated International Space Station, learning about space hardware, experiencing the science behind spaceflight, and engaging with aerospace career opportunities.
Educational & Inspirational Value:
The USSRC Summer Academy/Space Camp combines rigorous STEM education with hands-on experience that helps participants to gain early exposure to space exploration, aerospace technology and potential STEM or aviation careers.
